Beatrice Chapleo SRUA
Is a full time painter living and working in Crossgar, Co. Down. Came to Northern Ireland from England many years ago. Having been inspired by an inspirational lecturer at the Belfast Art College I am now an Associate Member of the R.U.A. I have exhibited in London and the South of Ireland. In Belfast I have exhibited with Tom Caldwell Gallery and the Octagon and Kerlin Galleries. I have been a gallery artist for Charles Gilmore since the early nineties. My work is usually figurative and quirky, full of detail and colour. My main influences have been naive art, classical music and living in the country. When not painting I play the piano or walk the dog.
