Terence Gravett SRUA
Terence came to Ireland in 1990 as ‘Printmaker in Residence’ with the Arts Council of Northern Ireland. In the following years he created murals for Belfast City Hospital, Dundonald Hospital and a new Ulster Bus Station in Enniskillen. He also designed a centenary medal for Queen’s University Belfast. Terence has been a visiting lecturer at the following art schools in Ireland: University of Ulster, Belfast; Limerick School of Art & Design; National College of Art & Design, Dublin; Crawford School of Art, Cork; and the Galway/Mayo Institute of Technology. He has run print workshops/courses in Norman, Oklahoma, USA; Grafikan Paja, Joensuu, Finland; Ulster Museum, Belfast; and ‘Artists in Schools’ for the Greater London Arts Association. International exhibitions include Graphic Triennale Sofia 1995; Bradford Print Biennale 1972, ‘84, ‘90; Cracow, Poland, 1994 and 2009; Ljubijana, Slovenia, 1993; and Bapha Varna, Bulgaria, 1993. Public collections include: British Library; Victoria and Albert Museum; Arts Council of Great Britain; Arts Council of Northern Ireland; Irish Contemporary Arts Society; Ulster Museum, Belfast; National Self Portrait Collection, Limerick; Allied Irish & Northern Bank; and several county museums in England.
